I must once again, express my utter excitement and in being fortunate enough to have become one of the purchasers at Icahbod’s Landing. This is my third home purchase in a GDC community, the first being at Mystic Pointe and the second at Scarborough Glen. I have made my decision to move, not solely on the basis of the quality of the construction of the prior homes, but also based on the sense of community you develop on each site.

Ichabod’s offers fantastic views of the Hudson River, the Tappan Zee Bridge and of the New York Skyline. I can only imagine sitting on my roof garden on a lazy summer evening and partaking in these wonderful views. The amenities and upgrades offered, as part of the purchase price, were outstanding. I am sure that Ichabod’s will be another “jewel” in the GDC crown.

I wish to also express my gratitude to all of your employees. Over the three purchases, the sales staff, options coordinator and home closing coordinator have been as spectacular as the homes you build. As a real estate attorney, I am amazed how simple the process is, when compared to other builders.

As a final thought, I wish to thank GDC for their continued dedication to the thoughtful development and preservation of the Hudson River. Your efforts will ensure that the Hudson River will be a place that all New Yorkers will enjoy and treasure for many years to come.

Anyway, I wanted to be sure to let someone know about an incredible employee you have - Todd - unfortunately I don't know his last name but he works in the Woodland Hills Community in Danbury taking care of the service requests. I am so impressed with his kindness - he is always very courteous and very willing to help. In a day when customer service is a lost art, it is very refreshing! He has gone above and beyond what I'm sure he is required to do many times! He goes out of his way to be available - going even as far as providing his cell number so that he can be contacted directly. Our service requests have always been taken seriously, and I will definitely miss him now that our warranty has expired!

Next week on February 12, it will be one year since I put a deposit down on my home. I still remember that Saturday afternoon when Debra took me by Jeep to see my lot - there was only a foundation, but I was so excited that I took pictures of my new "home" and the woods behind it. One thing that impressed me at the time was that so much care was being taken to preserve the natural beauty of the land with its mature trees, rocks and rolling hills. That was very important in my decision- I had been looking for a home with a "country feel" that was an easy commute to my Job in New York, and I knew that that day I had found it.

I wanted to take some time to thank you for building such a beautiful home. My husband and I have lived here five months and we couldn't be more pleased. This is my first experience buying a Ginsburg home and although I had heard good things about your company in the past, I was unprepared for how pleasant an experience buying a new home could be. From the moment I walked into your office a year ago, your sales office a year ago, your sales staff and construction crew couldn't have been more professional and helpful. Every step of the process was planned so carefully-from the initial contract process and choosing the options to the pre-sheetrock and final walk-throughs. And even after five months of living in our new home, you people are still taking very good care of us- calling to see how things are and following up on minor issues.

You and the talented people on your team have done a terrific job of building not only a stunning complex of townhomes, but a wonderful neighborhood as well. Now that we are here, we can't imagine having moved anywhere else.
